Muff is a biannual print magazine made by Ellen Freeman and Sharada Tolton that uses contemporary art and writing to open up our perceptions of reality. Each issue invites artists and writers to truth-seek around an everyday theme, tracing where power, vanity, consumerism, and technology intersect with spiritual evolution.

This issue features the work of our most geographically diverse group of contributors yet -- a global knowledge network to reflect on the Covid-19 pandemic & forge strategies for survival. Seeing our unfair systems for what they are, while recognizing potential in “flux,” the artists and writers of this issue grapple with questions of equity during crisis and imagine this time as a fulcrum for heightened awareness and systemic change.
